Rev.Franklin Graham and more than 300 other religious leaders want "assurance they won't be sued if a congregant contracts the coronavirus" during a religious service . Christians should eliminate any reason for the courts to become involved by establishing an insurance program to assist church goers who believe they have contracted the coronavirus during a religious service
Jesus would have healed anyone who caught a virus while He was preaching. Although preachers cannot heal the way Jesus did, they can raise money charge pay doctors who can heal. . During the current pandemic, religious organizations could combine their resources to assist such patients. Organizations that operate hospitals could treat such patients at no charge to them. Most other organizations would help raise funds.
The degree of risk of being infected during a religious service is unimportant. Congress should exempt religious organizations that help COVID-19 patients from court interference.
When I was part of forming a non profit, the lawyer informed me that no one had ever successfully sued a non profit.
He also said it doesn’t meant you won’t get sued, just that he didn’t know of a successful one.
Part of the reason is that most non profits don’t have any assets or can disappear them quickly.
We are finding out the virus affects people’s brains. I am so tired of trying to understand what people are saying...
“”they can raise money charge pay doctors who can heal””
No, Rev. Graham, Jesus Wouldn’t Do It This Way

Fortunately Franklin Graham realizes he is not Jesus.
How does someone prove where they caught the virus?
Hope so. My thought on the matter is to declare verbally, several times over the course of a few months: “Just because we’re open doesn’t mean it’s ‘safe’”.
That is true of everything you do, every day of your life. Let the wise be informed and act according to your level of 1) confidence, or 2) concern, in a given environment.
No need to put up signs. That would be too sterile and stiff. Verbal statements would be warmer and more personable, stated with a smile — PLUS, they are being recorded, as per all church services nowadays.
Jesus would have healed anyone who caught a virus while He was preaching
No he wouldn’t
He only healed the sick and infirm and brought a guy back to life.
There is no way (outside of strictly controlled environments) to determine the source of any viral infection. Even if it was contracted in church it could not be proven.
