Republicans have won a special election for Congress in Southern California, reclaiming a suburban House seat that they lost to Democrats in the 2018 midterms.
Democrat Christy Smith, a state assemblywoman, conceded defeat to Republican Mike Garcia Wednesday afternoon, one day after the closely watched special election runoff for the seat vacated by former Rep. Katie Hill (D-Calif.), who resigned last year.

I live in Washington State, where we have had mail in only elections for years now. Every time a Democrat loses an election, it is close enough to allow for a recount.
Then the new ballots are “unexpectedly “ discovered, and amazingly, just enough of them voted a Democrat! No one ever says a word.
I am telling you that 2020 will not be like 2018! We are going to crush them!

I agree. If LA County etc shut down summer, people are going to vote R in droves. This includes state representatives.

New Jersey and New York are the same way, go upstate in NY and it runs red
Go south or west in New Jersey it goes red as well.
It is just that the solid red ares just don’t have the populations to outvote the blue areas
