Since this video's release Ive been hounded by comments telling me to take my video down, that I should have waited for the facts, I'm a race-baiter, I look stupid, he broke the law, etc, etc, etc.
So, since the release of this video have my opinions changed?
Well, lets find out.
You are leaving out the hammer. The one by the side of the road in the video of the shooting.
A hammer is a potent, lethal weapon against anything short of a projectile weapon. The McMichaels got their guns because they had probable cause to think they were chasing a criminal. A criminal with a hammer is an armed criminal, and even if he discarded the weapon and they saw it on the side of the road they have some reason to believe that he may have an even more potent weapon with him.
If I had seen the hammer, I would have gotten out of the truck with my gun at the ready.
As soon as Arbery attacks the man with the shotgun, whatever he does is self-defense.
Too bad people can understand that.I have been following this case and waiting for the fact to slooooooowly come out.Its not as bad for the 2 men that everyone claims it is.
You were there huh?Wow, why didnt you stop it then?
Colin is not looking at this from the right angle.
The real issue is what Arbery was thinking at the time. Did Arbery believe he was in the wrong going into the house? Did Arbery think he was going to jail if the police got there before he got away?
If the answer to that last one is yes, then there is a reason for him to attack the man with the shotgun and it is a very clear case of self-defense.
Colin is a bright guy and it looks and sounds like he knows the law, but he is applying the law to the wrong part of the case. Arbery is a much dimmer bulb and if the defense can show that he might have believed a trip to jail was in the cards if he waited for police, the video of the shooting becomes very easy to explain.
And, to be successful the defense only has to produce reasonable doubt in one juror's mind.
I am not a lawyer, but from where I sit my money is on the defense in any trial.
The video shows the furtive looks before he enters the house, and coming out like a rocket. This is not the action of a man who believes he is in the right.
WRONG
When he grabbed the gun barrel of the defendant the defendant had the right to self defence.Georgia law so states and is made very clear in the Colin noir youtube video.
The guy videoing was a neighbor in one of the houses on that street.
Nice try, but it doesn't fly.
Arbery was responsible for the first shot, which hit him in the hand he was grabbing the gun with. But, he was still trying to take the gun and did not disengage after that shot. Travis has the right to defend himself during the rest of the encounter.
Yep.
Wrong again.we have stand your ground laws in georgia.try reading up on them. When he grabbed the barrel it became a right to self defense for the defendant.
Apparently nick is ready to hang them without a trial.Dont understand that.
What leads you to believe they were going to kill him rather than detain him for police who they apparently knew were on the way?
You are not in georgia and it shows. You dont know the law.
Felony tress passing.Hello?
You are way, way off on this.
So you know for a fact that there were no posted no trespassing signs on the house.Oh and it was a house so felony trespassing applies.
Really?
But he is justified to get out of his truck with a weapon(long gun) in Georgia. You overlook the fact we have stand your ground law in Georgia and all that it entails.
You are correct, though with the msm pressure I wouldn’t want to be in the McMichaels shoes.
Its unbelievable.
