Since this video's release Ive been hounded by comments telling me to take my video down, that I should have waited for the facts, I'm a race-baiter, I look stupid, he broke the law, etc, etc, etc.
So, since the release of this video have my opinions changed?
Well, lets find out.
I agree with Colin on this.
The two men need a better criminal defense lawyer than they can probably afford.
Better call Saul!
Brilliant and thorough analysis from Colion Noir. Always liked him. Still needs a trial to establish all the facts of what took place and to apply the law accordingly. This is absolutely not a clear cut case either way.
Been following as little as possible. We have courts to sort these things out, and we wouldn’t know his name if the shooter was black and/or guy shot was white.
But, my hot take is that it was a wrongful shooting regardless if the guy was messing around a construction site or not. However, there may be more relevant facts to surface, so we’ll see. I suspect that we’ll either hear more or less from the fake news media depending on which way they lead.
I don't think you understand the “News” business.....
“Dog bites Man” is not News...
“Been following as little as possible.”... that’s probably wise. Some of us just can’t resist.
White on black shooting is man bites dog but problem is the Fake News media wants to start race riots by having everyone believe the situation is dog bites man.
There is a clear case to be made. Why do you think there were no arrests for two months? Now race baiting obfuscating comes too the fore. Facts are that the guy was on probation and he was a two-time loser, he was busted in knew in the cops came he was going to jail. So he went for it.
Never attempt to take a man’s gun, it become self defense immediately.
I have had great respect for Colion Noir for several years. He looks at both sides of this tragedy and I am left to say this is a bad situation, mostly bad for Arbery, but it is going to get lots worse for the McMichaels. Stupid things were done by both sides. One can only hope that the legislators in Georgia fix the gaping holes in the laws which ended up encouraging a really stupid choice and tragic death.
If someone accosted you with a gun, you would just sit there and let them kill you?
They were going to kill him anyway, at least he fought back.
It took two months, because the police had more than enough evidence to arrest him, but the District Attorney, who was a personal friend of the criminal, exerted pressure on the police. That corrupt D.A. will be fired soon.
I agree, the kid at least attempt to defend himself after being chased down by these two neighborhood thugs. Once you strip away all the racist Bs, The kid was chased down and killed by two thugs, filmed by their friend, And likely accomplice.
When you grab hold on a gun held by someone else by the barrel and you yank on it what can happen?
I was wondering if the guy who made the video was their accomplice. Sure is weird that he was there when he was.
By the way, I suspect the police already know that this guy had some axe to grind against the victim. We'll see. I find it hard to believe he accidentally came across someoe who he had a connection with before.
Can you point me to the relevant state and federal laws about how the statistical probability of a crime impacts the prosecution of that crime?
I watched the video . There was a clear narrative there, he left out a lot of stuff. One of them was, somebody grabbed somebody’s gun, when he KNEW the police were coming. It immediately became self defense, all before became irrevalent. Bad optics are driving this, but the law is the law. Well, that is what the Founders believed... Do you believe that?
At least once when he is enumerating items from a printed page, he mistakenly refers to the items as "elements", as in "elements of a crime". I think he is correct that all elements of a crime must be present for the crime to be established.
In at least one instance, however, he is reading the definition of a crime which has multiple parts separated by the word "or". Any one of the circumstances need to be true to establish the crime; not all of them.
