Just to report further developments, the supervising Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is investigating the college leadership’s role in this controversy. The professor is not under investigation. Nor is he in danger of losing his job. I hope the college’s leadership is appropriately disciplined. Here’s a link to the article.

Of interest is the divided opinion in the local Muslim community with some supporting the professor and CAIR showing up to cheerlead for the offended students.
