RIP Jerry Stiller, dead at 92.
But remember, long before there was a Frank Costanza,
Frank in Seinfield
or an Arthur Spooner
Arthur in King of Queens
there was Stiller and Meara, a great comedic duo:
Jerry with his soul mate Ann Meara, together for over 50 years
The seemingly mismatched pair he a short, stocky Jewish guy from Brooklyn, she a tall, Irish Catholic from the Long Island suburbs shared an immediate onstage chemistry, too. They were soon appearing on The Ed Sullivan Show and working nightclubs nationwide. - IT
Creator of both the Festivus holiday and the infamous relaxation technique Serenity Now Jerry Stiller will be missed in a world that now more than ever could benefit from a little over the top comedy. He created supporting characters that were often funnier than the rest of the TV show.
RIP Jerry/Frank/Arthur. You will be missed.

RIP
It’s true. He was usually a supporting character that stole the show.
Jerry and Ann were a great team. I will miss them. RIP, Jerry.
Jerry Stiller made millions of people laugh over the decades. Thats quite a legacy. He was one of the comedy greats. Perfect timing. Perfect delivery. And his most famous characters (Frank Costanza and Arthur Spooner) sure werent your average sitcom second bananas!
RIP
Side note: Because of his age, I thought Stiller might be a WW II vet. So I looked it up. He was a WW II vet. Stiller joined the army towards the end of the war.
RIP! Funny Guy!
I watch King of Queens, Jerry Stiller was a comedic genius.
Many of his lines were not scripted. You could see Arthur’s
love for Spencer’s mom, Veronica.
A comedic genius.

The ability to make people laugh is a true gift from God.
I’d get so aggravated with Arthur at times at his outrageous behavior but he was after all nutty as a fruitcake.......he played it well. RIP Jerry and thanks for the memories.....
