So I admit. I’m against the draconian extents to which some governors are going — however if it’s potentially true that this virus is not totally nature-originated... Then how are we to expect it will behave the same way with regard to things like herd immunity and stuff?
and no one wore a stupid mask..unlike the clowns I met on the street today.

We enjoyed couple of classic Chicago style hot dogs yesterday. Out of 7 people in the store only 2 wore masks. Then we sat outside completely ignoring “social distancing guidelines” and enjoyed them with about a dozen other people.
It was glorious.

Actually, the older people on my state have been better. A lot of the young are totally freaked out.
I was in the supermarket yesterday, going up to look at spices (where you have to stop and look because they’re in small bottles) and when I pulled in with my cart, a young guy in a mask jumped backwards. I thought he was responding to something else (I don’t know what) so I ignored him and continued to look at the spice rack. He was about 8 feet away from me and watching me...looking back, I think he was waiting for me to move away.
Then another older woman rolled her cart up behind him and he leaped up in the air and started whirling around like he was being hunted. Finally, a mask wearing older gentleman appeared and at that point the younger guy went nuts. I thought he was going to try to run up the shelving along aisle, but instead he bounced up and literally ran up the aisle towards the door. The rest of us were just staring at each other in disbelief, even the older guy with the mask.
The young people are totally panicked. Totally.
despite the mandatory mask-wearing orders by my county, i’m seeing quite a few folks ignoring the orders, including me ...
I read where there is evidence that the virus could infect people through the eyes too.
Just so you know, I’m over 60; over 70 in fact. I want my freedom back. Please do not support age based restrictions.
