Picking up on our last video about the Newsweek report that the US has been funding bat coronavirus 'gain of function' research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, we dig further into the "Was covid-19 created in a lab?" debate.
Digging into the biochemistry of viruses, we are struck in particular by a genetic string of RNA in covid-19 -- specifically the polybasic furin cleavage site PRRA -- that has all the appearance of an "insert" (i.e., something that does NOT look like a natural mutation)
Chris walks through the science in today's video. But as he does, he's expresses disappointment and angered at some of America's most prominent virologists -- who seem to be more concerned with CYA tactics (perhaps because they were involved in the gain of function research?) than embracing the truth.
Look, now is the time when we need our leaders most, and that for sure includes our heroes of science. It seems crazy to suspect they may be lying to us right now.
Hopefully they aren't and they help us get the truth on the virus fully onto the table and into the light of day.
But until that happens, we need to keep questioning, thinking critically, and making up our minds for ourselves.

Way back early in the outbreak someone on FR posted a piece that talked about a Taiwanese virus expert. His analysis was that there was a highly remote possibility that this virus mutated itself into existence, but that possibility was so remote he was virtually certain that this bat virus was altered in the lab to become what it is.
Since I read that, I was pretty much convinced this thing was genetically altered in the lab. I cannot know if the release was accidental or intentional. But with the revelation that Fauci approved the research grant for the Wuhan Lab, I pretty much figured most of the statements by government tools were for the purpose of CYA.
We really, really, really need to sanitize the federal bureaucracy in the worst way. Sad to know that we pay exorbitant taxes to fund a government consisting of untrustworthy pathological liars.

One point I meant to make is that our bureaucrats likely have far, far more reason to lie than the Taiwanese scientist.
Some in the virology community may have the deaths of tens of thousands on their hands. They all have reason for this to never get out. Think about what this means.

But I have to ask, how come the data we receive always consists of infections alone.
Where is the data on how many hospitalizations. How come that important piece is kept in background.
Fauci needs to answer for is buddy Ralph Baric who is neck deep in splicing coronaviruses, but when discussing the origin species for CCV said:

They have not identified the actual reservoir species. Reports show that pangolins are potentially the intermediate host, but pangolin viruses are 88–98% identical to SARS-CoV-2. In comparison, civet and racoon dog strains of SARS coronaviruses were 99.8% identical to SARS-CoV from 2003. In other words, we are talking about a handful of mutations between civet strains, racoon dog strains and human strains in 2003. Pangolins [strains of CoV2] have over 3000 nucleotide changes, no way they are the reservoir species. Absolutely no chance.

Back at the end of January there were few COVIOD stories posted on FR. We were called names and told we were hysterical.
I rarely see those informative posts anymore.
What I see are continuous posts where there are the same group of posters getting all hysterical the other way.
The people writing these stories and posting these videos are conspiracy nuts. And the frantic people posting in the comments are just as nuts.
They post all these theories. If you don’t happen to understand the science or the theories, they are pretty much called “witches” who are out to destroy the Republic.
You guys all think there is a one-size fits all way to deal with this issue. You either want it BLACK or WHITE (mostly white) and you think you can apply those sides everywhere in the country.
Even this morning, as the hearses go down the street to the nursing homes, there are calls to throw the doors open so “we” can go visit “momma.”
Its ludicrous.
Can we go back to posting information and discussing the issues. Instead of freaking out, even as the country opens back up again. You are getting your collective way...and yet you still complain.
This bullshit is really making Free Republic unreadable.

Because to many here, what Chris describes in this video is smoking gun evidence the virus was man-made. Let's now hear the other side's rebuttal.
