Public information requests like this one can be a powerful weapon. My brother sent a similar public information request to his county. The county took the snitch-line link down from its website within the hour.
Results will vary by state, because different states’ public information laws protect different information from disclosure. But it’s worth a try.

Mayor Bill de Blasio asked people to call in to a snitch line and many responded as they should to such a request: they posted pictures of him violating his own orders. He was so shamed, the tip line ended up getting shut down. Pfffffttttt.....
DeBlasio has no shame.
The site wasn’t shut down because he was ashamed. It was shit down because of the content of the images people were posting.
