Something Is Not Right With This Testing
Vanity | 5/4/2020 | self

My Quest Diagnostics anti-body test was negative. I can't help but feel that there is something fishy with this and the other tests that are being pushed on us.

It seems almost impossible to me that I was not exposed to the novel coronavirus. Here is why I feel that way:

1. About a week after sitting for 3 hours in an enclosed room to hear a young pastor's oral ordination exam, a fellow examiner alerted me that he had tested positive for the virus and his whole house was on lockdown (end of March). Three members of this pastor's congregation were hospitalized and went to their reward.

2. My daughter is an RN. She lives in our home and has had regular exposure to the virus (she uses PPE) and has also tested negative for the antibodies.

3. A young woman who boards with our family works in fast food and the restaurant where she works has had several postive cases.

4. One of the facilities I visit as a hospice chaplain (before the Dr. took me off the road) has had over 79 positive cases and 9 deaths.

How is it possible I have had no exposure? My conclusion-- a. I am lucky; b. I have natural immunity or resistance; c. this virus is not as infectious as the fear mongers want us to believe, OR d. the whole testing thing is an incompetently administrated scam.

Any thoughts?

“...How is it possible I have had no exposure?...”

Simply because you are one of the 99% of people
in the State of New Jersey who do not have the virus.
(New Jersey total cases = 14,348 / 1,000,000)

God has told us that our days are written in the Book. It was his time to go home to be with the Lord our God and Savior. I is just not your time

#9 is the only question you need to ask. If you had a reaction, then you were infected and fought it off. That should show up on the antibody test. The other alternative is you were never infected despite exposure. Rememnber, it takes 1000's of virus particles in contact with mucus membranes to become infected. If you and any infected people you were exposed to were reasonbly careful (e.g. polite when coughing), then you were never infected.

If I have to choose just one, I'm going with:

"c. this virus is not as infectious as the fear mongers want us to believe"

Hypothetically, if a person started having symptoms 8 weeks ago and recovered over a 2 week period, would anti bodies show up if they take this blood test?

I don’t believe the tests are 100% accurate. Broadway actor Nick Cordero had his leg amputated due to complications (toxic shock and blood clots), allegedly brought on by the virus. But his wife said they tested him twice, and he was negative both times. It wasn’t until the third test that he tested positive for the virus. Third time must be the charm. Color me skeptical of the test kits available.

exposed does NOT equal acquired

Let me ask it another way, why do some years certain people NOT get the flu?

I know, because I don’t.

It’s not that I take the Flu Vaccine.

It’s because I keep my Zinc and Vitamin D levels up, eat right, and get plenty of fluids. Around me people are getting colds and the flu.....been doing this for years after I got tired of getting sick.

It would be to the advantage of Big Pharma to have as many test negative as possible so they remain candidates for the future vaccine.

I believe I had it end of March. It started with severe headaches and felt like a truck on my chest and then had a fever of about 99.9 off and on. Then I had heart palpitations, a flutter off and on I could feel. The headaches and chest heaviness was about 5 days with a temp only lasting 24hrs. I didn’t take anything. I was tired, but not extremely tired.

I woke up on 6th day and heaviness and headaches were gone.

Just weird, was it a bug or Corona?

Won’t know until I can get tested at some point.

When did your close contact become asymptomatic? If it was >2 days after your encounter, you should not expect infection (per the prevailing narrative).

Don’t you have to wait a while after exposure, at least a couple of weeks, for the antibodies to increase to levels that can be quanitified?

Some folks who’ve been exposed might be getting tested too soon.

Yes, a strong immune system is also important. So is the total viral load. Take in a lot at once and your immune system won’t hold up. But take in a smaller load of virus or a weakened strain, and you may overcome it.

Three negatives here and surprised about it too.

One of my kids worked in an executive training program for an airline at JFK thru mid March and processed passengers from China and Italy. One of her associates on the training program doing similar work died from COVID.

Another one of my kids worked in the medical device industry and took numerous flights and transversed numerous hospitals thru mid March.

Both came up negative.

Sorry, I failed to read what you posted carefully (nasal swab or antibody test).

Could be the test providing a false negative.

Maybe not everyone is susceptible to contracting the disease (for some yet unknown reason), which would be a new factor in achieving herd immunity (added to those with antibodies).
