I’m seeing a lot of this lately, not just with businesses but people freakin out and calling the cops over people who don’t wear a mask or don’t social distance. Reminds me of that movie “The Pianist” when he hides out in the apartment and the fat mouth neighbor finds out and shrieks him out to the Nazis “JUDEN! JUDEN!” Smack that bitch. Amazing how fast things can turn totalitarian overnight. Cops ARRESTING people for not “social distancing”?? What the hell??

If she was sheltering in place, how would she know who was running illegal businesses?

I don’t have a problem with a common scold snitching on a business. I do have a problem with a common scold declaring some sort of right to do so anonymously and without repercussions.
If it’s that important to you that you dime out your neighbor, the only honorable thing is to sign your name to it.
Requests under state public information acts can be very effective here. My brother’s county’s website had prominent link to click to report “stay home” violators. He sent a public information request for the identities of the complaints. The county took down the link within an hour.
My county just put in an online snitchline, so I am looking at doing the same.
This won’t necessarily work in every state, because every state has different public information laws, but I encourage everyone to give it a try. This isn’t East Germany. We have the right to confront our accusers in this country. If you want to inform on your neighbors and think you are doing the right thing, you should be prepared to own up to it publicly.

The Bible CLEARLY says these days were coming, where children reported on their parents and parents reported their children, and neighbors reported their neighbors. Yup, it is all there. Has been there for over 2,000 years, not something that came up last year. These are those days. Spoken of in Matthew Chapter 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13. All these chapters warn us of what is HAPPENING RIGHT NOW! It is only going to get worse, not better. The last days have started and are rolling down hill. The speed will only pick up faster and faster.
