I talked about Maine’s idiotic, incompetent fool of a governor in an earlier post today. Rick Savage is opening up his restaurant against her dumbass idiotic INDEFINITE SHUTDOWN order, and if I could be there I would SO TOTALLY GO.

GO RICK GO!!!!!

This is what it will take to overcome the communist Governors. This is the guy on Tucker Carlsons show last night - giving out the commie Govs cell phóne was a hoot.

So how would this play out for a Dictocrat Governor?

- Send in the cops to shut him down and arrest him.
- Charge him, then he’ll get his day in court
- Begin court challenge that will likely undermine the shutdown.

Before this Chicom virus thing ends at least half of the nations micro-breweries will be out of business.

All of those things are in play The governor can’t let this defiance stand without reacting. He’ll be ordered to shut down, he will, and then he will sue.

If the court case follows the usual pattern, he’ll lose. The courts defer to “pubic emergency” as out of their jurisdiction. He’ll get some platitudes, but no satisfaction.

We'll soon find out. A guy on the am radio talk show this morning says he wants to plan a vacation to Maine for the late summer, but they require a 14 day quarantine. I like to go in the Fall for a 3 day weekend, guess that's out as well.

Can't sue city hall. As the Beatles sang, Welcome to the USSR

My favorite tapas joint just went under in NH.

This was a tough business to be in even before the virus.

I wonder why a landlord would help/do their part to close down a business that is unable to pay rent for 60/90 days just so he could have an empty building for the next year

I am forever wondering about that part among the property rights crowd who are for immediate eviction of such folks.

OK, you have your property right. How is the income from the new tenant you can't get because there is - wait for it - a Public Emergency.

I’ve been planning a trip to a fishing camp in the Maine woods for early June, in Washington County, which has seen only 2 cases (since recovered). Had planned on cancelling. Yesterday the camp owner tells me to keep our plans. Said we “quarantine” in the cabin and on the lake, bring all provisions, thereby not violating the spirit of any orders from this idiot governor. No problem. That’s pretty much what we did last year! Can’t wait.

Yes ... Go, Rick, Go.

We stayed just down the road from there in an RV park last September, as we have friends in Bethel. Lovely, lovely city, although it has a large liberal population segment. That said, our friends are quite conservative.

We ate there, and got some donuts to go. Awesome food. Maine is going to suffer from their idiotic governor's edicts if she isn't stopped. I hope Savage's actions are followed by others.

We live in FL, and have lots of Maine snowbird friends, most of whom are going home this weekend. They face a 14-day self-quarantine (not sure how that will be monitored), and a horribly shrinking economy. So sad ... Maine has one of the smallest number of per-capita virus incidents, yet the shutdown is being ramped up.

We might have to visit Maine... Except for Kittery to Freeport and L-A, the state would be red instead of purple...

Does Sunday River deliver? If not I might have them delive to the Limerick Volunteer Fire Department...

If they do, I'd order some beer :)

They do that, even when in park.
