Shortly before the start of Friday’s coronavirus task force briefing, the White House tried to move a CNN reporter from their assigned seat in the front row to the rear of the Brady Briefing Room, prompting a revolt by reporters who made the administration back down.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins was told to swap seats with print pooler Chris Johnson with the Washington Blade. The White House Correspondents’ Association assigns seats and access to reporters. Over the years, the Trump administration has tried to assert control over who attends the briefings with mixed results. Most recently, the administration intervened to bring OANN reporter Chanel Rion to stand in the back of the room after the WHCA tried to bar her from the room.

Reporters? I haven’t seen any reporters covering the White House in many years… Oh, I get it, they mean the propagandists who occasionally pretend to be reporters.

Looks like Trump’s response is, “Okay, CNN can have their seat in the NO briefing.” LOL.
Remove all those nice comfy chairs. Put in bent, uneven folding chairs. They can use them or choose to stand. One camera in back of room, never show the face of a reporter. If he wants his face on TV, make him turn around and ask question to camera. That should really look rude and stupid. Have one big 50 inch flat screen up front so America can see him turn his/her back on POTUS to ask the question. A**holes just need to shut up and report....if they know how.

Replace the WH correspondents with a lottery system, rotated every few months.
Well since the courts sided with Jim Acosta when Trump originally removed his credentials basically setting a precedent that Trump can’t deny these idiots access, there’s nothing saying there has to be room made for them. What he should do is pack that briefing room with nothing but friendly reporters and fill in the seats in between with bodies/fluff, telling the others “sorry, no vacancy”

The White House is OUR house. Why does the WHCA get to dictate anything that goes on there?
