Could 2020 Be the Year of the ‘China Election’?
American Greatness ^ | April 24, 2020 | Nicholas L. Waddy

...While it may be tempting to imagine that President Trump’s reelection hinges on the public’s assessment of his pandemic leadership and on the degree to which the country has recovered from the virus-related recession, I would like to propose another critical theme that could tip the scales: China...[A] recent Pew Research Center poll reveals that attitudes to China have grown dramatically more negative across the board. Even rank-and-file Democrats see China as a bad actor in the global tragedy of COVID-19. In short, 72 percent of Republicans view China negatively, as do fully 62 percent of Democrats.

And there is video of Joe Biden saying “China is not a threat!” to be used a plenty.

They can call it whatever they want, but I will go FAR out of my way to avoid any products I can that are made in China.

I hate to be so cynical but about half of the American people are idiots and cannot connect the dots.

I’m sure Trump will win but at the same time I’m nervous as hell that he might lose because of too many idiots.

“Come on, man,” Biden said. “I mean, you know, they’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what, they’re not competition for us.”

China kicked the world in the balls and expects to get away with it.

Time for some Chinese teeth to come out.

Every time an American looked at an item for where it was made in it came from China. Now China’s reliance making everything was being threatened by a change in leadership in America which was a major consumer of those products. When Americans hailed their leaders decision to make many of them in their country US. Their politburo worried.

Worse yet opponents to the Chinese regime in power had its citizens protesting its policies , as in Hong Kong, since that change in American leadership wave the American flag and present his name when doing so. All of which presented those in power the need to destroy that leader Donald Trump.

Would a runaway plague created by a nation which could threaten populations of an enemy cause them to react by demanding extreme restriction of movement by its population to prevent its spread ? Thus wind up fragmenting its economy and create defeat for that leader’s upcoming election.

The way this whole thing developed starting with the Italian fashion industry areas controlled by the Chinese commies hit by a runaway CCWV (Chinese Communist Wuhan Virus) breakout occurred in Wuhan the politburo closed off Wuhan but did not warn the Italian Socialist government or the Pope with whom the Chinese government had good relations with.

But certainly violated when the socialists should have been informed and allowed to deny those Chinese workers who replaced Italians in those factories taken over by the Chinese travel to and from China particularly for their New Year while this was occurring. Which Trump did with the exception of only allowing American citizens returning..
Sure looks suspicious particularly when crews of US naval vessels somehow wind up being infected by it while visiting certain Asian ports before that showed up in Italy.

China sent some 430,000 people here from Wuhan AFTER they prevented those same people from going anywhere IN China. THAT is a WAR CRIME.

I was boycotting Ch*** products back in the 90’s...needed an umbrella for an extended Vermont rainy spell; couldn’t find one not made in China. Finally found one manufactured in Malaysia...

It’s possible that Xi Jinping figured the West would gin up a solution chop chop, which China could use to fix its problems with this bug. There’s also a sense here that China is populated by stinking barbarians not much evolved from cave dwellers. We can’t possibly have the same problems with this disease that mud people living in mud huts out in that figurative ant heap we call China did. As an amateur China watcher for decades, that’s, nonetheless, at the lizard brain level, my instinctive response. For the average non-specialist, that response is probably even more of a given.

The numbers we’re seeing stateside, in a single month, are an order of magnitude higher than what I expected a month ago, for the entire year. If Xi gambled that the West was gonna fix China’s problem with this virus, he may have bet wrong, and earned himself a ton of badwill in the process. Perhaps he figured also that in the worst case, if the West could not produce a solution, this would at least hobble his enemies, much as invasion forces affected by epidemics sought to share the wealth by flinging infected carcasses into the cities they besieged.

Good for you?

Were you alone when you bought it?

I only ask because I was thinking that, as much as I like to often shop alone, shopping alone does not afford me the opportunity to have discussions at a store with a shopping partner, discussions during which one of us asks the other if the product we are contemplating buying was made in China and explaining why it should not be bought if it is or stating to the other person why one will not buy it.

Such discussions should be held loudly enough that they can be overheard by others...

Cynicism is appropriate when progressives are manufacturing new idiots as fast as they can.

Exactly right. And that they want to rule every aspect of out lives and destroy our security, prosperity and freedom is not acceptable. Something has to give. Big trouble coming.
