Classic rock song from 1992.
Remember when MTV used to play music?
The fat little bee kid!!
I think the singer overdosed.
Didn’t every lead singer from the early 90s eventually wind up overdosing or shooting themself?
Blind Lemon Jefferson is buried 14 miles from my house.

I thought it was about Blind Melon Chitlin’ from Cheech and Chong.
pretty much lol
At least glam rock was fun.
grunge, which grew on me a little..like moss lol...was crushingly depressing
I grew to like Nirvana but his songs went downhill after he blew his brains out :)
I think the guys from Jane’s Addiction are still alive...somehow lol
Pretty much. Heroin is serious stuff.
Good music in simpler times.
Goin down town, gonna see my gal. Blind Melon Chitlin. Bwaaahaaaaa.
Are you sure that wasn’t Blind Lemon Pledge?
Maybe they had two versions.
Goin down town
Gonna see my girl
Gonna sing her a song
Gonna .......
If I remember correctly, Shannon Hoon died of a heroin overdose on the tour bus after a concert in Houston heading to New Orleans.
Wow! I have never seen this video.
My little brother built me a computer in the early 90’s. This song was in the startup.
Awesome memories.
Huh, I’m older than you and have never heard the song; of course I was watching VH1 instead.
I can remember when ESPN brought live sports into the house.
Pearl Jam?
In spite of themselves, all the original members of Jane’s are still alive and kicking.
And for what it’s worth, Jane’s Addiction was what got this metalhead interested in alternative rock. Mostly because of Dave Navarro.
Eddie Vedder is still among the living, last I heard. Maybe we should keep an eye on him...
Yeah great songs.
Jane Says is definitely in my top 100.
“Jane Says” is a good song, but IMO it’s overplayed. I’d pick either “Ocean Size” or “Stop!” as my favorite.
