Bild is the largest circulation German newspaper. (English language website here.) It ran an article calling on China to make reparations for the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus. The total was 149 billion Euros...

Well, if a German is pricing his country's reparations at 149 billion, considering that Germany has not had as many hospitalizations and as large a a hit to their economy from "Corona," I think we should price our reparations demand at something like 950 billion dollars.

True. After locking down the province locally, China continued outbound international flights to countries that did not ban arriving flights.

Why? China is not going to give af about a country that doesn’t ban it themselves. Also, once someone is out of China and let in somewhere else, not their problem to provide health care anymore.

China also knows they have purchased influence in all the international media. They can demand favorable press, or else they will kick the offending media out of their countries. Media know this is no bluff, and do not want to get banned from China, so they do not want to be labled as reporting unfavorably on China.
