Let me be the first to admit that this is an idea from left field.
It won’t happen in the near future.
But since gender equality in all things is being demanded what about 50-50 gender in team selection of team sports.

I coach and play co-ed recreational softball. Very happy to still be playing, but am no longer trying to be a superstar.
Our team of ten must play with at least three females. Years ago, it only required two, but I recall the more, ahem, aggressive female players didn’t think that was fair.
With few exceptions, the more, ahem, aggressive female players were already playing for the wrong team, batting for the other side, and other euphemisms to differentiate them from those *snort” MEN.

You cannot have males and females (“gender-hybrid” WTF?) football without having to fundamentally change the rules the game. If they allow tackling to continue there’s going to be a lot of busted up ”wemyn” getting carted off the field on a stretcher.
