2. Tuesday Weld’s finest hour.
I find it interesting, that after centuries of trying, we haven’t figured out how to fly the way insects/birds/bats do, i.e by flapping wings. I’ve seen little ornithopters for sale at fairs that break after a day or two’s use, but nothing the size of even a crow.
That expression never made sense to me, except as a clunky excuse to use a word which rhymes with ‘F*CK’.
I can do so much better with expletives than that one. Mine are very handy, like maybe fed from a box magazine.
Fixed wings are more efficient, that is why airplanes do not flap wings.
