I agree that Trump had little choice at the outset. Now that we have real data, he can change course. You can only plow the fields with the oxen God gave you.
Preschool runs all summer. But those are not open.
Hey, I think we can make a song out of that.
LOL so true, I should be plenty safe, then.
Widely known since day one. I don’t minimize the threat but there are forces that purposely mislead and prolonged this for agenda mostly to destroy Trump and America.
Who is Alex Berenson and why is he an expert on this disease?
I bet the main group targeted by this disease are smokers of any age.
Wear a mask, Wash your hands and get back to work. If you get sick then go to the hospital and get the HCQ treatment. What other choice do we have?
we all knew this...
and yet the pandemic boys and fearmongers pushed this narrative....
LET MY PEOPLE GO!
The graph
Meaningless. We need a per-capita graph.
How can he do that? By not going all in and declaring martial law before the chain virtue signaling by state governors gathered steam, we could have locked down only hard hit areas with a military enforcement of quarantine (New York) and still had a functioning economy.
As it is now, were at the mercy of leftist SJW governors like Newsome, Inslee and Cuomo sucking all the air out of the room with their cancellation of our 4th Amendment rights. Trump cant reopen the government, the government isnt closed. Im still paying taxes and getting parking tickets.
We generally knew that the old and those with compromised immune systems were the most vulnerable and suffered the most deaths. But as someone who has followed this crisis very closely, not only here but in the rest of the world, I had no real idea as to how disproportionate the mortality rates are among age groups.
Fauci and Birx have been constantly warning us that it is not only the elderly who are contracting and dying from the virus, but also the young. The MSM make a big deal out of a younger person's death. It distorts reality and makes public policy discussions more difficult. And it instills unnecessary fear.
I agree that there are forces that are intentionally distorting the truth due to TDS. They will highlight every CV death once Trump restarts the economy. The public must be made aware of the specific demographic data to counter the attacks against him. These data should play a major role in making the determination as to when Trump gets the country back to work and to alleviate the fears of the general public, i.e., the consumers may have about resuming their lives. The vast majority of the public, especially those under 40, are at very low risk.
The objective was to flatten the curve so as not to overwhelm the healthcare system. It was not to eliminate the curve and CV. It will be with us regardless even with a vaccine. Just like the flu.
And HIVAIDS remains with us without a vaccine, just a therapeutic. An estimated 15,807 people with an AIDS diagnosis died in 2016, and approximately 658,507 people in the United States with an AIDS diagnosis have died overall. The deaths of persons with an AIDS diagnosis can be due to any causethat is, the death may or may not be related to AIDS. In 2018, around 770,000 people died from AIDS-related illnesses worldwide, compared to 1.2 million in 2010 and 1.7 million in 2004.
But what does that have to do with K-12 schools, which are closed in the Summer? What percentage of the workforce has children? Why should closed schools prevent people from returning to work?
Babysitters, summer camp, daycare
Who’s going to watch the really young children at home who can’t work yet?
kinda what S. Korea is doing ?
He doesn't claim to be an expert on the disease. He is an investigative reporter who has digested the public data and questioned our current strategy of shutting down the entire economy when the data show that one segment of the population is being adversely and disproportionately affected.
Someone with an autoimmune disorder can be a variety of ages, but it doesn’t change the fact that a solid majority are over 50 who die.
Wow. Alex Berenson has this all figured out. Lets listen to him.
1% are aged 0-4
1% are aged 5-12
1% are aged 13-18
7% are aged 19-24
*41% are aged 25-49
29% are aged 50-64
21% are aged 65 or older
Trump really wanted to do it next week but he knows the press will call him a murderer and he just doesn’t need all of that. Hospitals are well equipped now to take care of any “spike”.
Alex Berenson is a liberal and a former writer for the NY Times. Liz Wheeler on OAN has him on frequently. He’s good at analyzing this stuff. Liz Wheeler has been excellent lately. She comes on at the same time as Hannity.
