Best Virus and Hacker Protector Program

Okay, I've had it with someone helping themselves in my computers.. in broad daylight. i have Norton on all and the turn it off. I just did a Windows reset on one.. and unplugged my computers till I can fix the way they get in.

I am angry and fed up with their bold thievery. Anyone have a really good solution?

Seriously, though, Do you have a firewall? That is probably the single best thing you can do to prevent it.

I'm talking about a separate firewall--before traffic even gets to your computer. Not the firewall on the computer itself.

Chromecast via a Chromebook eliminates all the approved and unapproved on line thieves.

Then I would take a second look at the firewall settings.

We use Malwarebytes — it has worked well for us, but I’m no expert in this area.

You might start with Gibson Research’s ShieldsUp! to see if it gives any warnings.

Any idea if you may have clicked on something to invite them in?

I've been using the basic Windows Defender for a number of years and haven't had any issues.

No matter what defenses are being used, the only sure way to insure against hacking is to be totally stand-alone with zero connectivity and single-user access to the device....when defenses are being used, one has to cooperate by not getting complacent and totally trusting the defenses...

Get a backup of your data.

Do a clean load of windows.

Get diskimaging software such as Clonezilla. Backup your clean system to an external disk.

Make sure Windows Defender and Firewall are enabled.

Only go to reputable websites and don’t open strange emails.

Good Luck!
