Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris said Wednesday that President Donald Trumps support of hydroxychloroquine makes him a drug pusher.
Hes got to stop We dont want a drug pusher for president. We want somebody who takes that stage and speaks to the crisis in a way that is about bringing relief, Harris told The View, in reference to Trumps daily participation in the coronavirus task force news conferences from Washington.
Harris claimed that she has no idea why Trump continues to promote the drug that has been licensed since 1955 and has proven to be an effective remedy against malaria. (RELATED: Clinical Trial Raises Hopes That Malaria Drug Could Be Coronavirus Cure)
But what I do know is this. It is a drug that has been proven to give relief from pain to people with rheumatoid arthritis, people with lupus, and right now, Im hearing all over the place, people are hoarding this drug, she said, suggesting that the treatment is becoming a scare commodity for those who need it to relieve their pain and to extend the quality of their life.
The president keeps taking the stage and, as opposed to what Dr. [Anthony] Fauci and medical health professionals are telling us, pushing this drug. WASHINGTON, DC - APRIL 05: U.S. President Donald Trump and Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, hold a press briefing with members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force on April 5, 2020 in Washington, DC. On Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a recommendation that all Americans should wear masks or cloth face coverings in public settings.
Others have criticized Trump for encouraging the use of the anti-malarial drug. Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski said Monday that President Donald Trump is promoting hydroxychloroquine because of a financial tie.
Fact-checker Snopes examined a New York Times article that also suggested that Trump could receive financial gain from widespread use of the the drug saying that conclusion is mostly false because Trumps stake in the product is so minuscule.
Joe Scarborough also asked on his MSNBC program why Trump was pushing an unproven drug as a potential cure for the coronavirus, saying hydroxychloroquine is ineffective, despite rising anecdotal evidence that it is bringing life-saving relief in the midst of the pandemic.

Think how Boxer feels. Moynahan /Hillary=Boxer/Harris
OK with Obama pushing dope...
WOW! LOL! Just when you thought the Mariana trench was deep, they go lower.
She’s a whore.
This is PROOF that the elites DO NOT WANT an end to the COVID crisis. They will do almost ANYTHING to stop this life-saving drug cocktail from being prescribed.
Three Nationality Harris is real gutter snipe.
Maybe she should ask why Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn has been using it as a treatment and prophylaxis, especially for their staff since the middle of March and with success. And I have this from a staff doctor who contracted Covid.
She wants a senile old fool to be President.
Yeah that did raise a Spockian eyebrow when she expressed that.
She
Is
Stupid.
Bringing relief like Obama? "Maybe this isn't going to help. Maybe you're better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller."
So I can have the President who wants to heal me or the one who wants to euthanize me. I pick heal.
That’s clever, honey.
You shoulda been a lay down comedian.

She is nuts. They need to do anything to go after Trump. The problem is I think to many voters are buying into it.
Is this why the American People told you NO Ms Harris ?
Wanna bet ?
I’m ya huckleberry
There’s the pothead calling the kettle black.
So this very safe drug is not preventing doctors from prescribing something else but in this case there is NOTHING ELSE! Maybe the drug works and you don’t have to go to the hospital and be put on ventilation or it doesn’t work and you have to go on ventilation vs you go on ventilation and probably die.
