Marc Morano's personal note: "I have known Fred Singer for almost two decades. He was as kind as he was brilliant. He had an encyclopedic acknowledge of people, facts, institutions, and science. I was honored to be his friend and attend Fred's 95th birthday in the fall of 2019. In 2018, Craig Rucker and I presented Fred CFACT's 2018 'DAUNTLESS Purveyor of Climate Truth' Lifetime Achievement Award. I traveled with Fred to the UN Paris climate summit in 2015 and we met up at many international destinations to fight the UN's corruption of climate science. My condolences to Fred's family and my condolences the world of science. You lost a great one. Rest in Peace Fred, you earned it. Cheers to an honorable man of science and a life well-lived. You will be missed Fred."

Hated by the left. A voice of fact-filled reason.

Yep, his wisdom will be sorely missed, by those who only knew him from print. Those who knew him in person lost considerably more. May he rest in peace, and haunt the climate scammers still in this world. 8>)

The ill wind continues. There is evil afoot. Seems like Rush’s terrible news was the beginning. The Sh*t hit the fan and hasn’t stopped.

The fact that the air is clean and there are anecdotal stories of wildlife making a comeback shows that “climate change” is a hoax. If the environment can react this fast shows that any stress or damage to the environment can repair itself in no time.

My point eggs-act-lee. Six weeks to clear up, then we must not have “ruint it” as bad as “they” claim. Surely you’ve seen abandoned former work sites that quickly get taken back over by plants and animals too. The ‘erf’ doesn’t give two craps about humans.

“The ‘erf’ doesn’t give two craps about humans.”

The erf doesn’t care about anything. If tomorrow it got hit by a meteorite and smashed into smithereens it couldn’t care less because it’s incapable of caring. Only humans have that ability.

Im not so sure some animals aren’t capable of caring.

And some humans exhibit few or no signs of caring.

You know this “goddess” every one keep calling Gaia is a pretty piss-poor god.
Weak as water.
She has trouble breathing and then asks her puny little humans to save her.
And, she tells them, they are the ones causing her to suffocate.
What, can’t she do it herself?
What a crappy ideology this erfirst crap is.

A brilliant astrophysicist and a great professor who was the first to identify the (subsequently misnamed) Van Allen radiation belt...
I am proud to have known him as an advisor/mentor, back in the early 1960's...

I knew Fred Singer at the University of Virginia. A physicist by training, Fred was a member of the Environmental Sciences department, but he used to hang out occasionally with some of the economics faculty at morning tea at the Colonnade Hotel pavilion on the Jefferson-designed Lawn. Singer knew more about the oil industry (prices, production, and market structure) than any of the economists, and he was especially insightful during the OPEC-II oil disruptions of 1979. Singer always considered himself a climate-change “skeptic,” not a “denier.” His dissertation committee at Princeton was comprised of John Wheeler, Robert Oppenheimer, and Niels Bohr. Not too shabby.
