Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner made a televised plea to Houstons criminal population to just chill and take a break from committing crimes until after the COVID-19 crisis had passed.

Da Mayor has cancelled in person 4th of July celebration in the city. To keep us all safe. But he had no problem with 80 thousand people gathering for a Floyd protest/riot.
Local radio announcers, who are usually apolitical are bringing this up.
