I have felt like crap since returning from new Orleans were we spent the new year’s. Alabama is home. Diarrhea, head ache, blahs, slight cough, no fever, ever, nose congestion, loss of appetite, thrown up several times which I never do, nausea. My sister had pnemonia in January. Almost killed her. They never said what it was. On vent for about two weeks.
Last week my eyes got itchy off and on - felt really dry, then fine. For the first four days I was OUT OF COMMISSION. My eyes would have been the least of my discomforts, LOL.
I’m paying close attention to my “feels” now. I’m being very careful.

yes, you have to be very watchful for that relapse. Sometimes the relapse is a lot worse.
Maybe what you went through was already the relapse.
Sounds pretty bad.
Pretty good chance you had it. So once it clears up and you are fine it will be really interesting to see if you are now immune

a military prep school classmate of my brother just died from C-virus ... no other details ... age would have have been around 66 ...
btw, for those posting stories please be sure to mention if you took ibuprofen
some indications are that it could make your experience worse.
If your symptoms do not subside, I highly recommend that you go to Emergency Dept - they usually can do more than a doctor’s office. Check your temperature when you have not taken any Tylenol/ibuprofen/ cold medications. If you have a fever, you should definitely be seen ASAP.
In my area, the hospitals and clinics are not having routine office visits (such as routine Blood Pressure checks etc) so it might expedite your visit.
I’m betting this thing has been here longer than they first thought.
I am just at the end of week 3. I expect I will be recovering for a couple more before it’s completely gone. I am not rushing myself.
Fortunately I was only worked the day I first started to feel ill. No one else (tiny staff) got sick. I have been in my house since then.
That’s what I heard so I set aside my ibuprofen and Naproxen for now. If you see anything official, let me know.
I didn’t take anything. I nibbled a vitamin C every day, that was about it.
So...I guess I might live longer...

Worked with a nurse the other day...Pt. had a trach..so I was there..."helping"...
The nurse flung a shit ball off the patient onto the end of the bed....I was grinning...You can't laugh...but it was funny.
Called her Shit Slinger for the rest of the day...
Ya got to be in this biz...to understand....
Smoked a Corona cigar last night..Might ward off stuff....hehe..

The state of NY has insisted that I take off enough time to recover fully. But I think it’ll be fatal to the little business that I work for. :( They are deemed non-essential, and times being what they are, I don’t think the owner will reopen.
