Recall Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D, MI) and her AG, Dana Nessel (D).
Corrupt incompetence, we need recall
Since recall is not in the Constitution, no action will ever be taken, and the American people will continue their reckless disregard for elections.
If there is another “Blue Wave” in 2002, she will win reelection in MI.
Please.
Cuomo has failed in NYS. He thinks he has no pony in this affair. The Feds have to do everything.
IIRC...Schumer was livid about banning anyone from China.
We got rid of Grey Davis and ended up with a RINO.
Invite ALL of them to take full fledged Private Group 3 hour Tour of Leavenworth. As soon as ALL of them inside the perimeter start the Tour with a stop at the Delousing Station pack it Full and hit the START Button.
Tell them the Guards have been given Orders to Shoot to Kill Anybody trying to escape. And YES The Guards have been issued Live Ammo.
The problem is voting. As long as universal franchise voting remains in place, the problem of poor or corrupt leadership will continue.
The Republic has failed.
Hacks elect hacks!
An equal justice system would solve half or more of the recall issues.
+100.
Trouble is that they’ll all claim whatever success Trump did during this virus pandemic as their own and people in those cities/states will vote them right back in.
From article 5 of the Constitution:
“The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress;”
The first thing a Con Con should address is term limits.
Washington's General: Nathanael Greene and the Triumph of the American Revolution tells the story of a counterexample.Greene was a weird case - an undistinguished private (looked down on because of a limp) promoted (because of his business acumen) straight to general. Never held any intermediate rank.
Greene blundered and got a lot (3,000 IIRC) of soldiers captured. But because Greene admitted his own failure and loved Washington for supporting him anyway, Washington trusted him. Some other generals, not so much. Greene wanted military glory, but his value as a quartermaster doomed him to a lot of rear echelon duty.
But in the end, with the British rolling up the revolution from south to north, Washington in desperation sent Greene south with very little military resources - and Greene turned the tide. The campaign he waged against Cornwallis in the south induced Cornwallis to blunder, and ultimately to end up trapped in Yorktown.
Term limits, and a minimum age of 35 years for all elective offices.
Maybe 40 . . .The trouble with electing young whippersnappers is that they dont have to establish themselves in the private sector, but become permanent parts of the federal Leviathan their whole lives.
