It's sad that he's not around to reassure us with all the misinformation being put out. He was on for 30 minutes just now and that was reassuring. Unfortunately we have to prepare for life without him. Like Johnny Carson there will be no worthwhile replacement but this will hit harder. I'm not giving up on his health but It will be up to the rest of us as there is no one worthwhile to turn to.

Rush is extremely vulnerable to the Wuhan Flu given:
Stage 4 lung cancer,
a compromised immune system,
male, and
over 60.
Rush just called into his own show. He will be back Monday
Rush was just on his show from noon until 12:30pm ET. Now Ken Matthews is taking over the rest of the show. Rush sounded great!

He called in an update today. The treatment side effects took him down big time, so regrettable because they were effective. So now he is back to square one, deciding which treatment to seek.
He really wishes he could do the show because he can hardly believe what he is witnessing. And, boy, did I understand what he meant. He is missed, really missed.
He sounded a little hoarse but said he was fine. Says he will explain all on Monday. It helped me a LOT to hear him today and I am so thankful he was on even for just thirty minutes.

Sorry I missed it. I heard the guest host and moved on. Going forward savor every minute he is on because it could be his last. He has stage 4 my friends on few escape that. I think back and see now an ill wind has swept over us. I was listening when he announced his cancer. Almost Immediately after that the s*it hit fan.
Rush just called into his own show for 30 minutes to discuss the side effects and other complications from his chemotherapy. He talked about how his legs swelled up and he had get around in a wheelchair. Rush described the pain in his legs and fevers that have prompted him to suspend his chemo and begin exploring other options for treatment, which had actually been working to deal with his cancer.
He wall calling in from his own home library and expects to be back on the air next week.
Prayers up for Rush.
It’s a shame that he has decided to stop the effective chemotherapy—but said it was a matter of length of life versus quality of life.
Nobody, other than WFB maybe, has made a bigger difference than Rush.
Get well, Rush. You’re my hero.
As much as we miss Rush I think he has to worry about his health first. I know when he announced his condition he said would do the show as much as possible, but his treatments come first. If he has to be away a few months to concentrate on his cancer treatments then he has to do it.
Since his lungs are already compromised, he is wise to self-isolate and avoid exposure and stress. Don’t give up.

Even if it had merit, what do I do? Push ups, vegetable diet? Exactly how are you preparing?
We love you Rush and are praying for you. And we know that with God, all things are possible.

It reminded me of when his tv show stopped in August of 96’. Didn’t matter as Dole was a loser. Then there’s the deaths of Tim Russert and WF Buckley(summer 2008). The GOP was toast but those 2 guys would have offered some truth to what was happening. Now pandemonium is the rule of the day and he’s not around to explain things.
