The case for accusing China of crimes against humanity
American Thinker ^ | March 27, 2020 | Dexter Wright

...It could be argued that the CCP did not realize the effect that its deliberate actions would have upon the world, but according to the statute, that is irrelevant. The precedent for this is the prosecution of Romania's former president, Ion Iliescu, who was indicted for crimes against humanity for his role in the deadly aftermath of the 1989 revolution that toppled the country's communist regime. The crux of the case was the dissemination of disinformation, which led to the deaths of over 800 people. This is exactly what the CCP did (and may still be doing) in its handling of the deadly outbreak...

No, rather there will be calls for decoupling from China and bring manufacturing home.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a world organization of nations that would/could sanction the CCP and force them to pay for their mistakes?

"...crux of the case was the dissemination of disinformation...

I would bet that the chicoms actually disseminated the bug itself, and that they did it intentionally. They used the "silk road" from Wuhan to northern Italy to channel it straight to the EU and the US.

When the chicoms threatened to withhold medicine from the US and produced a bunch of anti-US propaganda with their aid to the EU it was obvious.

The chicoms started a bio-war and must be held accountable, ie, destroyed.

I’m no economist, but I wouldn’t be shocked if the US just decided not to honor any debt held by China. We wouldn’t have to default on our entire national debt, but maybe we could default on China. And, of course, pull out our manufacturing. We just spent $2T we don’t have. Make China for that.

Oh, I agree. Our punishment of China should be purely self-interested and unilateral.

It should be seen as traitorous to finance or build a plant in China for export to the USA.
