A National Public Radio station, KUOW-FM in Seattle, Washington has announced it will not air President Trumps daily White House coronavirus task force press briefings, saying the decision is due to a pattern of false or misleading information provided that cannot be fact checked in real time. KUOW is a college radio station owned by the University of Washington with translators and repeaters airing in Bellingham, Olympia and Tumwater.
The announcement by KUOW came the same day as Trumps approval rating for his handling of the COVID-19 Chinese coronavirus has soared, with the Gallup poll released Monday having it at 60 percent, with Trumps overall job approval up five points to 49 percent. Trumps leadership of the daily televised briefings has given the American people an unfiltered view of Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and the team they have assembled to fight the virus. The briefings have also exposed the public to the insolent disrespectful behavior of many members of the White House press corps.
A campaign to stop live broadcasts of Trumps briefings began late last week among liberal in the media as polls started to show a growing majority of Americans approving of Trumps handling of the crisis. Those calling to censor Trump were MSNBCs Rachel Maddow and the Washington Posts media columnist Margaret Sullivan.

If Im the President, at every press conference I Pause for a question from NPR, and then make everyone sit there in silence...
1) Media says “Trump is not leading! What a failure! Where is our president?”
2) Trump news conferences are big success; real progress is made; people are reassured; Trump popularity soars.
3) Media says: “We’re not broadcasting that crap anymore!”
‘the decision is due to a pattern of false or misleading information provided that cannot be fact checked in real time...’
They claimed, in a false or misleading statement that cannot be fact checked in real time.
call them.......we are paying them so they need to do their job and air the Presidents briefings
...
Um didnt they just get funded by this bill? Pull the plug. Total disrespect.
Didn’t they just get millions in the latest DISASTER bill?

Public Broadcasting got $75 million in the Senate approved bill.
It’s way past time to defund this farce called NPR and.
It’s a propaganda station; nothing more.
Yes, they and the damned Corporation for Public Broadcasting got tens of millions, nothing but Dem propaganda that should receive not one cent in taxpayer funds. They also threw in millions for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a giant boondoggle on the Potomac, and the National Endowment for the Humanities, another leftist dream outfit.
“... NPR Station Says Wont Air White House Briefings on Crisis...”
Then President Trump should declare NPR a National Security asset, seize control of it, and use it for official news broadcasts.
Oh, and summarily FIRE every NPR employee and replace them with Americans, instead of liberals...
Cut them off today.
DEFUND NOW
I think that is right.
My compliments.
“They claimed, in a false or misleading statement that cannot be fact checked in real time.”
Ha! Try THAT with Liberal ‘politicians’ and pretty soon, the DNC wouldn’t exist!!
They are making it very clear that how they cover this outbreak depends entirely on how they think they can best hurt Trump. Fortunately, the propagandists have been going so far overboard lately (Trump forced innocent victim to drink fish bowl cleaner and die!) that they are pushing more and more rational and fair people to our side.
If it’s taxpayer-funded, then it should be “Open Season” on it.
After all, “for the public good and public safety”, and “if it saVes JUST ONE CHILD” you know...
