A man has died and his wife is under critical care after the couple, both in their 60s, ingested chloroquine phosphate, an additive commonly used at aquariums to clean fish tanks.

Ordinary quinine tablets made from bark of the cinchona tree are safer for self administration, IMO. Used for hundreds of years. One tablet dose, no more.
But one should still hold out lots of hope that hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin work as a great therapeutic to rid the body of the Chinese virus.
I saw a story the other day about this. The price for a 12oz bottle went from $9.99 to $400.00 on some web site.

Better yet just use a little common sense. 80% of the people who get this thing have no symptoms or symptoms minor enough to ignore and keep spreading it around. It has been spreading through our community in East King County for approximately 3 months, brought home by the tens of thousands of Chinese people who went home for the Chinese New Year holiday. If hadn’t hit the Life Care Center in Kirkland it would have gone unnoticed for even longer.
