I suppose it might be even more helpful to know if our relative bicycling rate per population is similar. My gut tells me more Chinese ride bikes than Americans, but who knows.

The better question is, why is it taking so long for those 178 to recover. My guess is that those people have a compromised immune system, making their recovery more difficult. That number was 180 yesterday, so that is uplifting. 2 more recovered. 8>) Let's pray that the vast number of them, no make it all of the remaining still infected, also recover.

People who test positive for it, who have recovered could have had healthy immune systems and experienced much milder symptoms. Meaning not everyone who tests positive is experiencing severe life threatening symptoms. Remember, there was a high population of older people aboard, so it probably affected them with more severe symptoms.

Yeah the Goldmans were late 60s (Mr. Goldman turned 67 in quarantine); and I think Matthew Smith, the guy who stayed and finally got home to Cali last week, is early 60s -- but he never got sick or tested positive.

same with coronavirus. The vast majority will never know they have ever contracted anything. As they're reporting with kids that contracted it. The ruff figure is about 10X of those that are tested is the very ruff estimation of how many people contracted it.

Which means the death rate is 10x less then what is reported or equal to or less then the flu or H1N1.
