According to Ashton, the testing might not have been enough. “Well, here’s the difficult thing about testing, right now we don't totally know how this virus behaves in terms of the asymptomatic period, in terms of can people develop symptoms after a certain time,” she said.

Yeah they sure wish it was positive. Then they would scream he had to step down and Pence too....therefore “healthy Nancy” could take over.
They must have obtained the REAL results from un-named reliable sources then.
You might be able to convince a skeptic that they are wrong.

Technically, we don’t have a way of knowing before symptoms develop whether some has it or not, the doctor is right. If the gestation time is as great as two weeks, someone could have got it several days ago and show no signs. Plus Trump, by the nature of his office, interacts face to face with people all the time. Any one of them could spread the virus at any time.
I’m not saying this to be an alarmist but those are the facts. That’s why there is so much over-the-top sheltering and quarantining going on.
