When I read of the ski resorts closing THAT pushed the BS meter to the peg. Wonder who these resort owners voted for. For them to so blithely shut down under these slight conditions more than just suggests to me that there is more here than meets the eye.

Ummm, No. It’s the other way around. H1N1 is sub-type of influenza A. The extinct Spanish Flu was a strain of the H1N1 sub-type. It’s like saying “you know what a car is don’t you, it’s a Honda”.
There is a huge difference between the typical yearly flu and this Wuhan Virus.
We have vaccines for the yearly flu bugs. If one lives in a First World place like the U.S., CA., or U.K., or Israel and they CHOOSE NOT to get vaccinated, that’s their choice, their problem.
This Wuhan Virus doesn’t have a vaccine as of yet. We have no choice. We all have to take a wait and see approach. Uncertainty.
Secondary difference, the Wuhan Virus affects older people more and seems to spread easier. Older people tend to get a yearly flu shot. But they can’t in this case.
So I’m proud of the people here with nerves of steel. I’m delighted to see many not in panic mode. But, for a moment, put yourself into the shoes of people with chronic but survivable health issues, no vaccine available, and then they go to store like normal, and it’s wiped out.
Have some sympathy. Sheeeesh. Some people are really afraid and I do think they deserve to be mocked.

A. how many Americans were killed by illegal aliens during the same period.
B. How many Americans died in accidental falls down their stairs during the same period.
Yeah but is a perfect opportunity to wreck the economy that would have resulted in Trump and Republican landslide.

In the entire world from all causes 150K+ die every day and the world rolls on. Double that number are born each day as well. Just to put things in perspective.
