Uber transformed transportation when it spent a fortune turning ride-sharing into a mainstream mode of transportation. But the 2.0 version of ride-sharing is where the real disruption begins. It fixes everything thats wrong and latches onto a mega-trend the giants shouldnt have ignored: ethical investing. This is where drivers get a boost, riders get a choice, and CO2 goes neutral.

Yeah. When I have had too much to drink and need a ride home, "ethical investing" is my primary concern, not getting a safe and reliable ride at non-extortionist rates.

Take Toronto, for example. Compared to other North American cities, Toronto is behind, but its seen consistent growth. And trends in rideshare growth suggest the market is not saturated and that growth will continue for the foreseeable future. Toronto has a much more robust public transportation system. There isn't as much need for rideshare companies.
