Gregg Jarrett: Hillary Clinton will feign amnesia if forced to testify about her secret email server

Good luck deposing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She’s as slippery as an eel and twice as devious. She’ll figure out a way to circumvent the truth. It’s her greatest skill set.

Clinton and her lawyers have spent months inventing one excuse after another for why she shouldn’t have to answer questions in a deposition about her unauthorized and unsecured computer system. She used a clandestine server to handle all of her electronic communications as secretary of state, including the transfer and dissemination of thousands of classified and top-secret documents.

There is no doubt that Clinton’s unprotected email apparatus jeopardized America’s national security. The State Department eventually divulged that there had been, at minimum, thirty separate security breaches. Chinese intelligence reportedly gained access to her server housing classified documents. Did the Russians penetrate the same system? You can bet on it.

Thus, Clinton almost certainly committed a myriad of felonies under the Espionage Act and other criminal statutes. Instead of pastel pantsuits, Clinton should be wearing an orange jumpsuit. But the Obama administration protected her, allowing former FBI Director James Comey to clear her by twisting the facts and contorting the law.

Please let there be a summons to testify, and please let Hillary go on the run as a result to escape testifying. Yeah, wishful thinking.

real quick.

Miserable witch should already BE in jail.

“Lock Her Up” - Not just a pretty campaign Slogan - WE MEANT IT.

That’s what she did in the Rose law firm records case. That’s what she did before congress. Why would anyone expect anything else?

It’s certainly worked for her below. Remember Rush’s parody song, “my brain is jello”

They already have it all. They’ll probably refresh her memory for her.

I bet a knotted rope would bring back her memory real quick—until she ran out of air.

Funny how a woman who can never recall anything in front of Congressional committees all the time is able to write books.

“until she ran out of air.”

She might not need air. She’s scary.

if it says i don't remember, you say "Then it COULD HAVE HAPPENED... RIGHT?"

or "Then it could NOT have happened, right?"

all depending on what answer you are looking for.

all you are doing is getting it to commit to an answer so you can use it against it later, it's not rocket science

Me, either, but here’s to hoping they’re trying to stir the porridge at the Democratic Convention, so it’ll keep her from trying to insinuate herself into the proceedings or (God forbid) try to wiggle herself into a slot on the ticket to try and get some revenge. There is no ‘beneath’ beneath the Clintons.

Time will tell, but I don’t think JW will be tossing softball questions at her like Congress did.

That being said, I hope Fitton and his folks have some pretty good security, get a really detailed physical showing that they not prime for a heart attack and that their homes are protected like Ft Knox to prevent home invasions.

If she can’t remember anything, then she is unsuitable to get the Democratic nominee at the convention.

Nailed it.

And, based on her answers at JWs deposition, compare them to what she’s told Congress or government committees and see if they jibe. This could be a great way for JW to get their hands on any testimony she may have given in the past and compare them. She’ll get caught contradicting previous statements, I”m willing to bet. Will they go after her for Perjury, at that time, doubt it. But we’ll see.

The fact that the private server contained classified information is interesting but not central to its purpose. The reason she could not use the secure government server was because everything on it would have to be archived by law and could be subpoenaed by a court. This would potentially expose the numerous quid pro quo discussions she had with donors to her Clinton Foundation while she was Secretary of State.

Because her criminal acts did not create “victims” there are no witnesses that would accuse her of crimes in court. The only way to catch a thief is with a thief and her co-conspirators know what happens to snitches in Arkansas.
