DNC Superdelegates Say They’re Willing To Prevent Sanders From Becoming The Nominee

Bernie’s decision to endorse Hillary Clinton back in July 2016 left his supporters with a little option as they would never support the candidate that stands for everything that they opposed. But it seems that we can see why he endorsed her!

Former interim chief of the Democratic National Committee Donna Brazile broke her silence on the 2016 election early as 2017, saying she had “proof” that Hillary Clinton stole her party’s nomination from Bernie Sanders. As always the mainstream media did not crucify the DNC, if this kind of scandal was about President Trump it would have been another story!

It seems that history will repeat itself as DNC superdelegates reported that they intend to prevent Bernie Sanders from becoming the Democratic nominee for POTUS.

The New York Times spoke with 93 superdelegates following Sanders’s victory in the Nevada caucuses on Feb. 22, the vast majority of which said they believe the Democratic Party is headed toward a contested convention. Of the superdelegates interviewed, 84 said Sanders does not deserve to become the party’s nominee based solely on having secured the most, but not over 50%, of the delegates during the primaries and caucuses.

“In a reflection of the establishment’s wariness about Mr. Sanders,” the Times reported Thursday morning, “only nine of the 93 superdelegates interviewed said that Mr. Sanders should become the nominee purely on the basis of arriving at the convention with a plurality, if he was short of a majority.”

The superdelegates, many of whom are current elected officials, are “willing to risk intraparty damage to stop his nomination at the national convention in July if they get the chance,” the Times reported.

“If he doesn’t have a majority, it stands to reason that he may not become the nominee,” Jay Jacobs, the New York State Democratic Party chairman, said of Sanders, who has won the popular vote in the first three states of the Democratic primary race.

Under the current convention rules, if Sanders does not arrive in Milwaukee with at least 1,991 pledged delegates (just over 50 percent of the total), the convention will go to a second round in which superdelegates and all 3,979 pledged delegates will be free to vote for any candidate they choose.

The floodgates would open at the convention if no candidate breaches that threshold. All 3,979 “pledged” delegates would then be free to vote for anyone of their choosing, and the 771 superdelegates, comprised of elected Democrats and high-ranking members of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), would be able to cast votes for whomever they wish as well.

The candidates themselves also appear to be bracing for a contested convention as it appears increasingly likely that Sanders has the only realistic pathway to secure the nomination during the primaries and caucuses. Sanders was the only candidate during a Feb. 19 debate to say the person that enters the convention with the most, but not over 50%, of the “pledged” delegates should be the Democratic nominee.

Ways to stop Sanders from becoming the nominee has become a “dominant topic in many Democratic circles,” The Times reported. The DNC will brief House Democrats on Thursday about their role as superdelegates in a contested convention.

“Bernie seems to have declared war on the Democratic Party — and it’s caused panic in the House ranks,” New Jersey Democratic Rep. Josh Gottheimer, who endorsed former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg on Feb. 20, told The Times.

Bernie Sanders is a guy who never worked a day in his life or created wealth or jobs, as for looting, he and his wife are experts at that…they have looted the American taxpayer and sold us out for huge bank accounts.

But for President Trump, he is the opponent from his dreams! It would be communism against capitalism and we all know who would win in that battle!

The DNC is going to break a Sacred Right in America. The Fifteenth, Nineteenth, and Twenty-Sixth Amendments Right for the People to Vote for who they want as President of The United States of America! This risk sounds like something Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and Chuck Schumer would conspire against their own Party. Socialist Bernie Sanders will be burned again, maybe they will prepare him an Impeachment sandwich before Super Tuesday.

Please share this article wherever you can. It is the only way we can work around their censorship and ensure people receive news about issues that Democrats and the mainstream media suppress.

July will not be a good time to own convenience or electronics stores in downtown Milwaukee.

They will NOT let Bernie be on the top of the ticket. Would Bernie take the VP slot though under someone who got less than half the votes he did, or perhaps none at all? Tough pill to swallow. Or he will would he decline but support the ticket? Or would he run as a 3rd party candidate?
