I found The_Donald on Reddit in late 2015. It was an incredible place to be, especially on election night, 2016. But the character changed once OhSnapYouGotServed and others disappeared. Now there is https://thedonald.win and I’m not spending much time looking backwards.
Thanks for the link. The only thing r/the_donald was good for IMO was the memes. I set up an account on thedonald.win, once I figure out how to best navigate the site, I’ll start looking for memes there.
And using AI to systematically suppress speech, whether downgrading comments based on content to systematically “poisoning the well” with fact checking and blurring of posts to purging people automatically who post too much “poor quality” content.
