I debated posting because I don't have experience observing 79 year old women. I don't know what behavior is normal.
I decided to observe House Speaker Nancy Pelosi after noticing an expression on her face that reminded me of the facial expression comic Imogene Coca used when she wanted to appear dopey.
As I observed her behavior she seemed at times to behave as if she was unaware of where she was and that millions of people were watching her. I initially thought she might have been affected by alcohol or medication.
After she childishly tore up the speech I realized some of her earlier behavior was childish. Childish behavior in a 79 year old might indicate a problem. Someone who knows more such matters than I do should watch a video of Pelosi at SOTU.

She was more than a little drunk IMHO. Watch the video of her at the end trying to use the gavel before toddering off.
Pelosi could hold her own with W.C. Fields,a true unrepentant alcoholic,who famously was offered a glass of water and replied, “ Never touch the stuff, fish f**k in it.”
Nancy had a few drinks before SOTU, she knew her speaker-ship was finished.

Well it certainly looked like she was jonesing the whole time, but she always looks like that, cross reference her “marking time” speech before she signed the articles. So, doctor, I agree with your “bonkers” diagnosis; please send us a bill
If you use Imogene Coca as a reference you know lots of people in their 70’s!!!
I would guess she’s been taking crazy pills for decades washed down with who knows what.
She’s usually gin soaked.

For a long time I’ve prayed that God would “change the hearts and minds of Democrats” so the end result would save our country via better decisions and better news reporting.
But I think God is answering the prayers, but in a “funner” way. He’s turning them in to blithering idiots so they’ll quickly self destruct in front of all of America. Pelosi. Biden. ButtG. Warren.

the speech, on cloud 9, in the ozone. Happy that she
was going to up stage the President. It was planned
