Panicky James Carville: It's the 'End of Days' if Democrats Nominate Bernie Sanders
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 02/10/2020 9:32:24 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

James Carville is the craggy face of Democrat desperation. On today's Morning Joe, Carville spoke in literally apocalyptic terms, warning that the Democrat party is "the only thing between the United States and the abyss," and that if Democrats nominate Jeremy Corbyn [i.e., Bernie Sanders], it's going to be the "end of days."

Our Scott Whitlock caught Carville making similar comments several days ago. But Sanders still has a strong lead in New Hampshire polls, and Biden seems on the verge of utter collapse. So Carville apparently felt the need to renew his desperate appeal to Democrats before they hurl themselves off the electoral bridge.

No, Carville doesn’t care about ideology, except as the content for what you say to get elected. He chooses to work on the left but everything he says and does is equally effective for the right. Find the article with his five recommendations for Democrats and you’ll find that Trump is doing every one of them.

What bothers Carville is that Trump has the best set of native political instincts and abilities since Bill Clinton, and he knows exactly what that means.

I loved the time where he wore the brown paper bag over his head.

Carville knows a pile of steam SH&T when he sees it.

And yet...Carville has stated that he would vote for Sanders if that's the nominee.

Shows his complete lack of principles.

Ideally, let Republicans who respect the federal government's constitutionally limited powers, including the federal government's limited power to appropriate taxes, run the federal government.

After all, the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, a constitutional lawmaker, had clarified that the early states had left the care of the people with the states and not the feds.

”[…] the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Federal Constitution, is in the States, and not in the Federal Government [emphases added].” —Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe, 1866. (See about middle of 3rd column.)

Justice Brandeis later put it this way about the "laboratories of democracy," the unique powers of the sovereign states to serve the people, depending on what the legal majority citizen voters of a given state want.

I'd like to say let Democrats run the state governments since federal Republicans can put state Democrats who ignore legal majority citizen voters and abridge constitutionally enumerated protections in jail.

H O W E V E R…

A MAJOR problem with lawless Democrats controlling the state governments is that Democrats would also control the Constitution.

So patriots need to get Republicans up to speed with the Constitution that that they have sworn to protect and defend so that Republicans constitutionalists can run both state and federal governments.

Remember in November!

MAGA! Now KAGA! (Keep America Great Always!)

Carville is one of the many who helped accelerate the devolution to lunatics and liars in the dem party, so it’s a little unseemly and hypocritical of him to whine over an environment he helped create.

If a brokered convention involves the counting of votes, they won’t have a nominee by Election Day.

Carville is a Clinton worshiper. It does not matter if the Clinton is either Bill or Hillary. Bernie Sanders has two chances of becoming the Democrat nominee. Slim and none. That Bernie will be taken out by the Democrat powers that be is a given. Only the when and how remain unanswered.

“I think the only “acceptable” ( note the quotes ) non-crazy candidate left is the one who has lots of money and never participated in the debates at all.”

The only winning move is not to play the game.
