Massive cheerleader fight at center court

EAST ST. LOUIS – The East St. Louis School Superintendent Arthur Culver announced today that Flyers cheerleaders would be banned from performing the rest of the year after some of the team members broke out into a fight with Trinity Catholic High School’s cheerleading squad.
The fight between the East St. Louis and Trinity Catholic cheerleaders happened Saturday in the Alton Shootout. The two were conducting dueling routines at center court when the melee erupted.

we called that study hall.
It is like study hall, but it is all day and the kid is by himself with a staff member or a substitute teacher. Usually, they don’t like it because they don’t get to interact with their friends and they have to work. Even takes lunch in an unused room.

I've lived in North Texas for 20+ years. Never have I seen cheerleaders from opposing teams face off like that. Anyone with a lick of common sense could see that the potential for a fight were off the charts.
Suggestion to school districts everywhere: if someone applies for a position at your district, and they're from either of these two schools, file that application in the waste basket.
Another article stated that Grumich added that the squads plan to partner "to reconcile the recent incident together."
Mr. Grumich is the school president at Trinity Catholic. He's obviously part of the problem.
They should "partner" to pick up trash on highways, but not together on the same side of the road.

You know the same thing crossed my mind when I first saw the clip. Of course the girls in ZULU didn’t start fighting each other.
