What is worse? That reporter just let her keep using the wrong word and did not correct her. You can see the reporter laughing at her.

Some people just aren’t gifted with regard to language. Some of the most talented people I’ve personally known have barely been able to spell - some very talented artists, in particular.
I’ve enjoyed Tommy; but I think this is kind of petty.

Maybe she did mean evaporate. I mean when we have water damage we often turn on fans and floor heaters to help ‘evaporate’ the moisture.
