The three senators have continued to question whether Joe Biden misused his position as vice president to protect his son — a theory that has not been backed up by any evidence.
However, the West’s widespread displeasure with Shokin was rooted in his inability to root out corruption and investigate companies like Burisma, and Biden — unlike Trump — was operating within established US foreign policy. Republican senators, including Johnson, even signed a letter urging Shokin’s dismissal at the time.
Andrii Telizhenko, a former Ukrainian diplomat whose claims about what the country’s DC embassy did during the 2016 election have helped form the basis for many of the Republican senators’ requests. In 2017, Telizhenko told Politico that a senior official at the Ukrainian embassy instructed him to help Chalupa research links between Trump, then-campaign chair Paul Manafort, and the Russians. Manafort eventually resigned from the campaign as reports about his links to Russia surfaced and is now serving a seven-year prison sentence for a series of financial crimes from before he joined Trump’s team.

I’ve said all along that Humper Biden had to be investigated but NOT by impeachment committee. This is a good move, but the ultimate investigation needs to be done by the DOJ/FBI and the results given to a grand jury. Everything else is just grandstanding by Senators. But it may turn out that they will unearth documents and evidence on the Bidens that then are referred for criminal investigation.
The prsenter is absolutely correct that this is a self-inflicted injury by the Dems, if the Bidens get investigated it’s only because of the House Democrats bringing up Ukraine. The Republicans never would have had the balls to go after Joe and Humper on their own initiative.

This comes only a few days after Senator Lindsey Graham announced that FISA abuse, the Ukrainian whistleblower, Burisma, and the Biden family would be facing investigations. The outcome is actually surprising as many thought the Republicans would not seek information as to how these repeated Trump scandals keep emerging. Starting with Russiagate then Ukrainegate it seems like it would not stop. But now the GOP is pushing back against the Democrats and we may actually get to the bottom of how these fake scandals keep getting pushed up. Meanwhile Democrats face another battle as the far left candidates and supporters are seeking to upend the party come the DNC.
Well they won’t and you know that. But the important thing is that Republicans take control of the House and keep the Senate, lest this crazy crap continue forever.
And as the presenter notes, if that happens they plan to expunge Trump’s impeachments so it will never have even happened. That would be the best response to Pelosi, Schiffty and Nadless of all.
