I don’t think we should attack Utah or LDS. I do make fun of planet Kolob, but Utah is a rock ribbed Republican state, and even overcame Hillary’s use of McMuffin to try to steal it.

I have personal experience with this. I had a mormon boss fire me because he “didn’t care for my morals”.
The woman who I was dating was his very attractive young administrative assistant. I was a department director. We were both single but not mormon.
He fired both of us, and was forced to hire me back. He refused to rehire her, so he resigned. She sued for wrongful termination and won a 6 figure settlement.
His deposition was full of sexist attitudes toward women so they settled out of court because a trial would have cost them 7 figures.
As for my morals, we’ve now been married 13 years and I adopted her 2 children as my own.

It is well known what Mormons stand for and it is outside traditional Christian values, don’t want to get in to a religious discussion here.
The approval rating for Trump in Utah is below than what he gets in other red states. Isn’t it surprising that in a state where Republicans outnumber Dems 6 to 1, his approval ratings are lower? There is a sizeable section of Mormons who dislike Trump and that is why even a fraud like Evan Mcmullins was able to get around 20% of votes in Utah through write in ballots. What makes it ridiculous is that Trump has done more for mormons even that their own leaders.
Isn’t Romney a mormon bishop also? Romney himself mentioned that his dislike for Trump is based on his mormon views.
The Salt Lake Tribune is a big time liberal newspaper and owned by the Huntsman family - another prominent Mormon family.
Fact is many Mormon leaders are corrupted and compromised and they dislike Trump.
