'FOX News Sunday' host Chris Wallace said Friday The White House wins because President Trump will be acquitted, Democrats win because they will use "cover-up" narrative in 2020 races and John Bolton gets untold free publicity for his book.
"I actually think every side is going to come out a winner in this," Wallace said Thursday. "The Republicans and the White House will be winners because the president will be acquitted and the trial to remove him from office will have failed."
"I think the Democrats, who knew they were never going to get the president removed, will be able to argue, just as Schumer did, from now until November, that this was a cover-up and that all the Republican senators who are up for reelection in 2020 were part of that cover-up."

We ‘won’ because Congress did nothing for several weeks.
Politics has never been about the truth. And frankly neither has the news industry. It really doesn’t matter if the dems had legit charges or not. The base is energized, they are psyched, they will vote for a pile of crap if it says the GOP is corrupt. That was the whole point of the exercise.
Every time this argue ANYTHING about this impeachment effort, it will serve as a friendly reminder to republican voters just how despicable they are and will only serve to increase the will of the voters to get rid of them in the next election. This is anything but a winning hand. They have started a fire that will not be put out by pouring gasoline on it.

Also, if Sanders wins Iowa and New Hampshire. The Dems. have a Big Bernie problem.
Let's wait and see. The process has not yet wrapped up in the Senate. Also, we should not forget about Senatorial elections. The Dems can very effectively use some impeachment material in ads against Republican Senators.

i had a talk with my 7 yr old grandson on what “keeping your word” meant and how important to be able to trust him and he us.

So far everyone he said was at the Meeting has said it didn’t happen. Even if it had, POTUS Trump thinking out loud never turned into reality.
I liken it to Nixon “talking” abut using the IRS against his Political enemies. He never implemented the threat, but the Media implies he did.
Obama never talked about it. His Flying Monkey Administration Sycophants knew what they had to do and the compliant Media never made it an issue.
