Patrick Philbin
President Trumps deputy counsel Patrick Philbin nuked serial liar Adam Schiff on Wednesday for making up bogus charges against President Trump on the Senate floor.
Schiff is no match for Trumps defense team.
Mr. Philbin is brilliant and has been able to dismantle the Dems shampeachment while barely even looking at his notes. Impressive.
Schiff smeared President Trump with allegations of bribery and extortion even though none of those charges were included in the articles of impeachment.
Mr. Philbin said if any prosecutor tried to do what Schiff did, there would be a mistrial.
No, the articles of impeachment do not charge the crime of bribery, extortion or any other crime and thats a critical point, Philbin said citing the Supreme Court which established that issues raised in a trial must have a specific charge.
The Supreme Court also ruled that a court cannot permit the defendant to be tried on charges that are not made in the indictment against him, Philbin said. That is the rule in criminal law and it is also the case for impeachment.

That beat down yesterday was only one of many that Trumps team gave liar Schiff. Expect more today.
Philbin needs to be in the federal judiciary. His legal reasoning is superb.
Behold the absolute worst that our nation has to offer.
This is the bottom of the barrel.
“”””Schiff is no match for Trumps defense team. “””””””””
And yet the media praised schiff and backed his lies 100%.
An open letter to “ALL” US Senators:
USA Senators, all....this is a very basic, truthful and accurate message that even you misguided good folks will understand!!!
Democraps, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, & Jerrold Nadler the leaders of the House “Trump” Impeachment effort are charged by our laws, to develop, produce and deliver by presentation to the Senate, the entire case they have formed with all the witnesses necessary to prove their findings. This they failed to do.
The Senate simply gives a yea or nay to their findings and presentation. As such no Senator should ever vote to do the work of the house by requesting that more witnesses come forward. The House has had their chance and opportunity to do exactly that, and they failed miserably in accomplishing this basic task. Vote Nay...all 100 of you Senators...period....Case Closed!!!
Unless he is as big a patriot as Trump, why would Philbin give up his practice for a judges pay? I cant even imagine how much hes costing Trump. The thing is, hes worth every penny.
They chose diversity over quality.
Many judges have. Ask any judge.
Heard it and it was one of the best answers of the entire 93 questions.
Does Trump pay these lawyers out of his own pocket?
I have been reasonably impressed by the whole Trump team, but Philbin has stood head and shoulders above the rest. I never heard of him before this impeachment mess.
I was listening on the radio and said to myself “Who is this guy? He’s good. Very good.”
Philbin has to be one of the most impressive lawyers I have ever seen. His grasp of facts, and his ability to coherently discuss them, with no rehearsing is simply outstanding. I watched the entire question session yesterday. Time after time, he stood up with seconds notice and simply destroyed the house Managers with detailed factual information. This totally contrasted with the the managers simply endless repetition of “Orange Man lies. Orange Man BAD”.
I, too, am very impressed with Philbin. But as an aside; I “study” variouse accents or drawls. Philbin’s pronunciation of certain words, such as “house” tells me he grew up in the tidewater area of Virginia or North Carolina. I’ve been unable so far, to learn where he was born and reared. Does any Freeper know?
Go figure.

and more:
Thanks. I guess accents can occur anywhere. I knew a guy from dutchified Lancaster County, PA who sounded like a Brit. But in some respects, Philbin does sound like a “low country” VA or NC aristocrat.
I agree completely. I had a prof once that had what sounded for all the world like a Chesapeake Bay accent, but it turns out he had grown up in Memphis.
That is what lapdogs do for their masters.
Ha ha ha, I love it.
