your point #2 - the masks are not useless. They only help mitigate one of the entrances to the bodies. However, they are not useless.
Use a decent mask, goggles or glasses and ear plugs...cover any skin surface cuts. Wear long clothes and wash them after you get home ASAP. Take them off and put them in plastic bag before you enter the house.

You can just get the damn virus, live or die and get it over with. I’m not living as you suggest above.
I fart a lot which sanitizes the air around me and makes a protective cocoon.
Few people will do all that, then you have get out of anything you wore.
