President Donald Trump sat down with Maria Bartiromo this week during his travel to Davos, Switzerland.
Bartiromo ran the interview on Sunday Morning Futures this weekend.
During their conversation President Trump accused Obama of illegal spying on his campaign.
Maria Bartiromo: Attorney General Barr is looking at officials not in the Horowitz report. He’s looking at Brenann. He’s looking at other Obama officials. How far up the line do you think that it went?
President Donald Trump: I think it went right to the top. And I think what they did was they spied on my election. What they did was so illegal like in history there’s never been anything like it. They tried to defeat me before I got elected. And then the insurance policy kicked in. Remember the famous insurance policy? If he wins we’ll go get him here. And that happened. There has never been a thing like this. If this were reversed and this were Obama, President Obama that this happened to. People would be in jail right now for 50 year terms.

Nothing will be done about it. Black democrats are above any and all laws. Black, ex-presidents are exempt from them to the Nth degree.

That’s easy to answer. The plotters went on the offensive immediately when President Trump was inaugurated. If he had instituted such as you advocated, they would have started impeachment far earlier claiming political motives. He did not yet have the investigative facts to back up such a move that early. Suspicions, yes, but no evidence. Plus, remember who was in charge of the FBI, DOJ, and other investigative departments until they were replaced. That took time to ferret them out and we are still finding them squirreled away in deep state rabbit holes (I know, I’m mixing metaphors). Trump still did not know the depth of the sedition or actual treason that had been plotted.
It appears liberal elites (’the adults in the room’) are traitors....

I can only hope at this point, but fortunately my ultimate hope does not rest in men or their institutions.

BS. You forget that the Mueller Investigation only concluded in May, with his report before Congress on July 24, 2019. The Democrats won the House in November of 2018. THIS is the environment in which you want President Trump to bring charges against more Democrats? These are political considerations which require ABSOLUTE IRON CLAD PROOF, not mere suspicion and no witnesses willing to testify. . . or who commit suicide by two bullets to the back of the head a week before depositions are due, or hanging themselves in an very secure Federal jail while under video and being watched by a cadre of Federal guards on Suicide watch.

Indicting or prosecuting Obama would be a sure way to cancel Trump’s victory for a second term.
