I agree, I think Trump’s attorney alluded to this by saying, where is the whistleblower.

Ciaramella is a good idea. How about the Ukrainian prosecutor who was fired because of Joe Biden’s blackmail?

They want witnesses? OK,fair enough. We want Plugs, his coke addled,sister-in-law schtupping offspring,Loretta Lynch,Eric Holder and the “whistle blower”...on live TV...UNDER OATH!

And we want the video of Plugs boasting "and six hours later..son of a bitch...he was gone".

Everything Schiff classified should be disclosed in the so-called impeachment trial.

There is no national security implication to revealing the “whistleblower” whose assertions are not protected when it comes to the President in any event.

The President is not just another federal employee, and he doesn’t serve at the pleasure of Congress.

Whistleblower protections are there to protect people from misconduct by civil service employees. The Congress cannot write a law affecting the status of the President as his status is defined by the Constitution, not them.

Using classification to hide misconduct is itself a crime. Schiff could be prosecutable under that point alone.

GOP should demand production of ALL depositions conducted by shifty and ALL communications he and his staff had with anybody offering information regarding this concoction. I suspect the shifty one has conspired with witnesses to manufacture testimony, it is incumbent on him to prove he has not done so (the Mueller axiom).

I think the Senate should agree to hear from witnesses, but only those witnesses who testified before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees during the House's Impeachment Investigation.

The House is there to prosecute the two Articles of Impeachment that they forwarded to the Senate, and only those witnesses and documents that led them to selection of those two articles should be considered. Anything else, like deposing Bolton, is simply a fishing expedition during the trial portion of the proceedings.

He obviously has no knowledge of the Ukraine matter but I would like to know what role he played in spying on Trumps campaign.

I think this idea of a witness swap is a trap. I think that these Rats should be stomped and get the vote over with. Nothing good is going to come out of this. It’s a sham and should be treated as such.

I agree, however, I think Michael Atkinson, the inspector general for U.S. intelligence agencies who changed the whistlerblower form, should testify as well. One without the other would be shortsighted in my opinion. Then a new Special Counsel should be employed to investigate the Biden corruption fiasco in Ukraine. I believe that Special Counsel selected by Bill Barr should be none other than the former U.S. Justice Department prosecutor, and Judicial Watch founder, Larry Klayman. While he is at it he can investigate Hillary email server and the Clinton Foundation too. 8>)

IMHO, there should only be one vote on subpoenas to testify. The impeachment managers should submit their list and President Trump’s legal team should submit their list. Then there would be one up or down vote on the entire list.

There should not be separate votes in each individual to testify.

“our utterly corrupt Department of Justice will make sure no justice ever arrives for either of them (the Bidens).”

Whether the Bidens are convicted of anything is secondary.
Their testimony would show that Trump had good reason to look into their affairs.

Hunter Biden and the Whistleblower will NOT testify, other than to claim 5th amendment privilege. I don’t know why people don’t understand this; the calling of witnesses is a bad idea for the Trump defense. They should hold the line on forcing the prosecution to move forward and make their “overwhelming” case.

Small groups of senators making deals across the aisle are like chunks of poo in a salad.

Whenever a dem senator wants to make a deal with a Republican, the rules of the deal are heads I win, tails you lose. And the Republican goes for it nearly every time. As Bugs Bunny says, What a maroon.
