I think the Senate should agree to hear from witnesses, but only those witnesses who testified before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees during the House's Impeachment Investigation.

The House is there to prosecute the two Articles of Impeachment that they forwarded to the Senate, and only those witnesses and documents that led them to selection of those two articles should be considered. Anything else, like deposing Bolton, is simply a fishing expedition during the trial portion of the proceedings.

Bolton is out, the President cannot waive executive privilege on him.
