Problem is the GOP Senate are cowards and can’t be trusted. They’re not smart enough to realize that if Trump goes, they do too.

I don’t trust the process at all.
These people’s respect of our values, which Trump shares, is non-existent.
For that reason they are subject to being adrift.
I’ll believe Trump is safe when this is over, and then they will start again.
He sticks to his principles and I appreciate that. He makes a point of them even when it’s the wrong time to do so. (ie war powers/drone strike on Soleimani) {Face Palm} Nobody is perfect.
His two most strongly held principles, which he goes out of his way to promote, are his Pro-Life and Pro-2nd Amendment positions. For that alone he is worth five of any other senator IMO.
If the uniparty fuchs thngs up there will be plenty of patriots that will permanently correct things.

Rand is simply making the point that approval of witnesses should be generic and equal - i.e., if the Democrats can pick 3, the Republicans can pick 3. Period.
No fair voting on specific witnesses in such a way that could result in Democrats getting their witnesses approved and Republican not getting their witnesses approved.
Rand is standing up for the President’s rights.

Even if all you say is true I don’t trust the GOPe to stand up for Trump.
SGI, neither do I. That said, Paul is a bit of a drama queen. He is a, “The Sky is Falling” kind of guy. I, personally, have more trust in President Trump’s ability to deal with this crap than I have with Paul’s inbred hand-wringing.
Trumps ability to deal with the dems on one hand and advance his Pro-America agenda on the other hand is on FULL DISPLAY.
The proof of this is in his innumerable accomplishments despite the 24/7/365 dem opposition he has had to deal with.
I’ve been saying that since September and taken a lot flack here on FR for saying so. These gopE senators are corrupt and Trump is a threat to expose that.
