Sydney Powell is not messing around with these corrupt DOJ lawyers. Former National Security Advisor Lt. General Mike Flynn filed a motion to withdraw his plea of guilty in his entrapment case on Tuesday. The move comes a week after the government lawyers had reneged on their previous sentencing agreement with Flynn, and recommended Gen. Flynn serve jail time for allegedly misleading FBI Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka in the January 2017 entrapment meeting that helped to create the pretense for the Mueller Witch Hunt.
Flynns attorney, Sydney Powell, filed a motion that scorches the earth on which the corrupt DOJ lawyers prosecuting this case stand. The full motion can be found at this link. Here are some key outtakes from it [Bolding added for emphasis]:
Michael T. Flynn hereby moves to withdraw his plea because of the governments bad faith, vindictiveness and breach of the plea agreement
Only after new counsel appeared did the government for the first time demand an admission and testimony from Mr. Flynn that he knew and intended when he signed the FARA registration form that it contained several material false statements. Not only was that demanded testimony a lie, but also, the prosecutors knew it was false
The prosecutors concocted the alleged false statements by their own misrepresentations, deceit, and omissions
Not only did Mr. Van Grack [lead government lawyer for this case] demand false testimony from Mr. Flynn about the alleged false statements in the FARA filing, but Mr. Van Grack also knew it was false because Mr. Flynn had explained it to him on June 25, 2018, in preparation for his testimony to the grand jury
In pure spite, the government retaliated and sought to rescind its judicial admissions that Mr. Flynn was not a co-conspirator, obtained an ex parte emergency order from Judge Trenga, including a gag order, and moved up the date of the hearing on the issues without notice to counsel for Mr. Flynn. An agent improperly contacted Michael Flynn, Jr. The prosecutors placed him on the witness list solely to harass him and to raise the threat and anxiety of the family at this crucial time. The prosecutors completed the trial without calling him as a witness
Justice is not a game, and there should be no room for such gamesmanship in the Department of Justice
The Governments tactics in retaliation for Mr. Flynns refusal to compose for the prosecution is also a due process violation that can and should be stopped dead in its tracks by this court
Keep praying for General Flynn. Great lawyers are invaluable, and he has a truly great one in Ms. Powell. But the governments powers to abuse the process are enormous, and the judge in this case appears to be willing to turn a blind eye to the clearly corrupt manner in which this case has been conducted all along.
That is all.
Good!
This is beautiful. It looks like the DOJ opened up his ability to start this thing from scratch and FIGHT this thing. And I think, based on what I’ve been reading, coupled with the current political environment, he will win.
The judge decides if he can withdraw a plea or not.
General Flynn can ask to withdraw the plea, but he does not have the power to do so, without permission of the judge.
This case tells me Barr is not in control and has no plans to prosecute democrats.
misleading FBI Peter Strzok
Spit.
This tells me that ComDems are very afraid that they will loose control of the courts. If the law is applied as it was designed, this abuse would not be possible.
The courts have been one thing Trump has had significant accomplishments, but this judge is just nuts.
Barr is a clown. His praise for FBI Director Wray and his allowance of this case to continue proves he does not care one wit about justice.
He is another Sessions with a facade of toughness.
I think that things have gotten to the point where everyone beneath AG Barr needs to be summarily dismissed in the entire DoJ and FBI, and the entire upper management of those agencies needs to have criminal charges leveled against them.
I’ve heard people like Hannity say that he has nothing but respect for the FBI agents “on the street,” and that the problem was only with “upper management” and the political appointees.
I once thought this, but no more. I am not aware of a single FBI agent or employee who resigned because of the corruption in the FBI and DoJ. If they sat on their hands, they’re complicit in the corruption.
I know it will never happen, but until the corruption is cleaned out from top to bottom, I will never trust the US government law enforcement agencies.
I need to see public trials of these people. Something that far too many in this country don’t seem to understand is that this whole “Resist” movement, which originated in the Obama oval office, is the first time in US history where this country HAS NOT has a peaceful transition of power. Because of the size and scope of the bureaucracy, the Obama and Clinton regimes have actively opposed the duly elected President of the United States on every level. This is an attack on the US government, the Constitution, and the electorate. Well, Obama DID promise that he was going to “fundamentally change” the USA. He brought Chicago corruption to DC, implementing a whole new level of evil and corruption into what was already a terribly corrupt government.

I would tend to agree.
Police, FBI, state and federal AG attorneys do not act or operate as servants of the people; it's a foreign concept to them. They serve their respective agencies and political and union bosses. Most see the public as guilty until proven innocent - IMHO.
How many of us have experienced cops with a bully posture? We have all read stories of and maybe experienced first-hand - evidence being planted, facts being distorted or omitted, etc. I think we trust the current so-called justice system at our own peril.
Good advice - if ever arrested for anything, say nothing without your attorney present.
Id say youre right. Big talk except when it counts with Barr. When he agreed Epstein committed suicide the red light started flashing then he praises Wray. When he says nothing about the BS whitewash Huber is going to release dont be surprised.
Yes, this judge is part of the Deep State. They protect their own.
That is where this all came from.
Let the Judge jail a man who pleaded innocent.
And who do those DOJ lawyers work for? Their boss should not be permitting prosecutorial misconduct. Just saying.
“...public servant...”! What a pathetic joke on the Citizens of this country. Most “public servants” should be fired immediately.
The judge called Flynn a traitor on the first day (flooded mainstream media). Sure he took it back, but what was his mindset to say something so derogatory without facts? Definitely proves a bias against all things Trump.
This case tells me Barr is not in control and has no plans to prosecute democrats.

What it tells me is even worse thatn that, but I agree with you that its a very bad signal in any case. Barr is not leading and so far has done nothing to restore confidence and integrity back into his badly damaged department.
Doing nothing to fix obvious problems speaks volumes.
...public servant...! What a pathetic joke on the Citizens of this country.

Self serving is more like it.
